Project Manager

About The Position

Reporting to the Delivery Director, the Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of Trax solutions to meet company revenue goals while driving customer satisfaction. This role will be based in Tokyo.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams across diverse industries and geographies and hold oneself accountable for the success of projects assigned.
  • Translate customer contract into a comprehensive project plan and manage the delivery end to end.
  • Manage customer expectations, communication and act as SPOC through all phases of the project.
  • Create and maintain required project artefacts including project schedule, status, training materials, project documentations and presentations for various discussions.
  • Present project updates and key insights to senior management, ensuring clear, concise, and impactful reporting.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including project scoping and proposal development.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, handle stressful situations and aptitude for problem solving.
  • Ability to motivate & influence the project team and service providers to achieve successful delivery.
  • Ability to independently and quickly acquire new skills, tools, and knowledge without requiring detailed instructions or constant supervision. Attend organized training and further their knowledge by self-learning Trax knowledge repository.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, capable of identifying root causes of tension, addressing concerns diplomatically, and guiding situations toward positive outcomes.
  • Highly organized, proactive, efficient and possess the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a customer facing PM or similar role in external delivery projects; SaaS/software is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science Degree or Engineering background is an advantage
  • Required languages: Possess fluent verbal and written and presentation skills for Japanese (must), English (advantage), Hindi (advantage)
  • Experience in Retail/CPG/FMCG market – advantage
  • PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent – advantage
