Reporting into the Data Acquisition Services Team Lead - AMER, the Data Specialist will be responsible to Data Acquisition aspects in the regional projects: Collection flow design, DB set up, user training, collection vendor management, and quality monitoring and enforcement. They will work under the regional Data Acquisition Lead to establish best practices for data collection as well as designing new collection processes and answering data acquisition inquiries. 


Area of responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of data collection processes for new projects.
  • Set up and oversee system configurations related to data collection, monitoring, and project execution.
  • Monitor the progress, quality, and timely completion of audit initiatives, addressing gaps and driving improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders as the primary point of contact for data acquisition inquiries and requirements.
  • Provide training, guidance, and feedback to field teams to enhance performance and data accuracy.
  • Manage third-party collection vendors when applicable, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Partner with R&D and Analytics teams to ensure reporting is accurate, effective, and aligned with project goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn business needs into practical data collection and system solutions.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management, system implementation, or similar roles involving data workflows or process design.
  • Practical experience working with information systems, data flows, and system configurations.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the confidence to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistent in tracking progress, quality, and outcomes.
  • Experience in training, guiding, and supporting teams, with a collaborative and solution-driven approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous exposure to Retail/CPG/FMCG industries is a strong plus.
  • Bonus skills: familiarity with Python, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
